While remodelling our daughter’s bedroom I moved in some new Ikea furniture. I always ensure that anything with doors and drawers is attached to the wall.

This prevents the cabinets and dressers from falling on children if (when) they climb them.

Watch my short video and use it as a guide to help you do the same thing and provide a safer environment for our children to play in.

I always recommend using a stud finder and attaching to the studs in your walls but if you must use a hollow portion please use the proper anchors.

I recommend these ones here they are rated at 143lbs in 1/2" drywall
