Travelling with Buscar | Mombasa → Nairobi FULL JOURNEY

Описание: The day started with unexpected complications. After arriving at Mwembe Tayari booking station to print my ticket for Buscar’s 9:30 AM daytime bus, I was informed that the bus had allegedly been cancelled. A backup plan was quickly formed — to board the Mombasa–Lamu bus, alight at Kilifi or Mavueni, and wait for the Malindi–Nairobi bus.

That plan changed again after I travelled to Mtwapa, where I was informed that the Mombasa–Nairobi daytime bus had not been cancelled at all, but had already left Mtwapa for Mwembe Tayari just minutes earlier. This led to a last-minute tuk-tuk chase back to Mwembe Tayari, where I finally caught up with the bus — saving the entire experiment.

We departed Mombasa at exactly 9:30 AM and began a long daytime journey lasting over 10 hours, finally arriving in Nairobi at around 8:20 PM.
