Dr. Donald Wallenfang, OCDS entertains the question, "What is ideology?" Through a deep-dive in philosophy, we are able to understand the meaning and role of ideology within church and society. This presentation presents the term "ideology" and the various meanings contained within it in order to unmask its force within human thought and behavior. With reference to the work of Friedrich Nietzsche, ideology is distinguished from reality vis-à-vis the phenomenon of idolatry.
