After the success of the mixed traffic days at last years '50th Anniversary Gala' the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway held a four day Mixed Traffic Gala over the bank holiday weekend from the 3rd to the 6th of May.
With four guest Diesel locomotives brought in for the Gala, most notably the 125 Groups Prototype HST Power Car 41001, which ran alongside a mixed home fleet of both steam and diesel running an intensive timetable which saw express runs & unusual cominations of locos.
The weather was mostly sunny throughout the event, and lead to some great scenes being made as trains made their way through the Yorkshire countryside and it was all a rather fun experience. Hope you enjoy!
