The composition arises from a gesture of suspension: a cradle that swings above the abyss, between beginning and end, between silence and sound. Subtly crafted electronic textures in blocks o chords and apeggios are woven from delicate synthesis processes, modulating states of presence and absence, clarity and shadow. The sonic flow takes the form of an ontological crossing, a movement between being and non-being, where each resonance seems to emerge from nothing only to soon dissolve back into it.
The Cradle Above the Abyss is thus less a musical narrative than a phenomenological space: a field in which listening becomes awareness of the interval, of the brevity of the instant, of finite light against an abyssal background.
