Is Disney World Worth It on a Saturday? We Tested It (+ Park Hopped to Animal Kingdom!)

We’re finally here — another magical Walt Disney World day with our toddler! ✨🏰

Even though we’re Disney locals, every Magic Kingdom day still feels just as special — and today we’re putting a Saturday park day to the test to see if the crowds are really worth it… and even end up park hopping to Animal Kingdom too!

We start our morning strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. and meeting Mickey Mouse — the sweetest way to kick off our Disney day. 🐭❤️

After that, we browse some of the cutest Disney merchandise (because toddler toy shopping is basically mandatory 😂) before hopping on classic Magic Kingdom attractions like Haunted Mansion 👻.

We grab snacks at the Main Street Confectionery — including my must-have Diet Coke — and watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade from one of the BEST viewing spots on Main Street (pro tip included 👀).

Next, we meet Peter Pan ✨ before riding Peter Pan’s Flight, which is always a toddler favorite!

Later in the day, we park hop over to Animal Kingdom to experience the new Zootopia show and catch the breathtaking Tree of Life Awakenings projection show at night — seriously one of the most underrated nighttime shows in Disney World. 🌳✨

To end the night, we head back to Magic Kingdom for fireworks, spring rolls, and a ride on Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ before catching the first half of the Starlight Parade on our way out so we could beat the exit crowds.
