Every Railway Crossing on the Burnley group lines (Glen Waverley, Alamein, Belgrave, Lilydale)

Описание: There are 153 active railway crossings located on the Melbourne Metropolitan rail network. 16 of them are on the Burnley group lines which comprises the Belgrave, Lilydale, Alamein and Glen Waverley lines.

The Burnley group lines junction from the Caulfield group and Sandringham lines at Richmond and run to Burnley where the Glen Waverley line splits away. After Camberwell the short Alamein line junctions off while the Belgrave and Lilydale lines run to Ringwood where they part ways and continue to their terminus’s. Since 2010 there have been 9 level crossing removals on these lines and 4 more are getting removed in the coming years. All services on these lines are run by X’trapolis 100 EMU trains.
