How to fix shaking and vibration Range Rover L322 BMW 3.0 TD6 M57 engine

Anyway, you were here about a Range Rover. So this is my 2006 L. Three two two. So it's the three litres turbo diesel, the six cylinder BMW M 57 engine. Yes. The suspension is leaking. The car's been parked since yesterday, so it's sitting quite low.I actually quite like it looking like that. It's sleeping, it's having a snooze
and looks quite cool, though. Just kind of sitting there quite low. And compressor still works fine. So as soon as you start the engine, the car will lift up again and then 2 miles down the road, the car will ping at you and say suspension fault. And I just keep on driving. It's been like that for over a year now. We'll fix it at some point. I'll probably do a video about that too. But the purpose of this video today was about shaking and wobbling with these cars. And for about two or three months I had this shaking and wobbling problem with the car particularly shaking, like a really quite a strong shake coming really from your seat as opposed to like from the steering wheel. And I investigated all sorts of possibilities.
So I even changed the rear prop shaft because that was definitely on its way out and it was whining a bit. So I replaced it at a great cost. It wasn't cheap and that didn't resolve the shaking at all. Obviously got all the wheels balanced and the alignment done. Didn't resolve the shaking. Went into even to like a Range Rover dealership who actually said that this car is too old for them to deal with... a bunch of prats. But they suggested that a suspension problem. So I got hold of a little computer thing that you plug into the dashboard there to try and reprogram the suspension. And I did find a few faults and I was sort of able to reprogram it. But that didn't change anything. We still had this vibration. So this vibration I got wasn't all the time. It was happening around between 70 and 100 km an hour. Really quite a deep vibration, which is really quite uncomfortable and quite disconcerting. Particularly as we drive the car all the way down to south of Spain like that. All the way down to Seville. So this is from the southwest of France, near La Rochelle to Seville. That's quite a road trip. That was like 4000 km there and back, including driving about and stuff, exploring the area. So what it was in the end actually, I eventually found out what was wrong with the car. The whole reason of this wobble was actually the engine. It was coming from the engine. I held the throttle up to 1700 rpm roughly and then the whole car was shaking like mad at a standstill. So I took it into a garage who checked the injectors, and in fact, one of the injectors was faulty So I got sadly decided, or thankfully decided to replace all six injectors at great cost because I didn't want to just replace the one, or there was possibly two which were faulty. If one is gone and the other ones must be on the way out to replace all six injectors, problem solved. No more shaking or wobbling. So if your L322 is shaking or wobbling when you're driving down the road at particular speeds,
as I described, sort of 70, 80, 90 km an hour, then get somebody to check your injectors. Most people don't have the gear at home to work on injectors, so I do recommend taking it to your trusted local garage who does diesels and get them to have a look at the injectors. So they've got like a testing bench and they can test them, see the return flow and stuff like that. I don't know. And yes, that was all the problem. So shaking wobbling with the L322 solve my anyway, check your injectors.
