RC Patrol - Test Run Video - Axial Wraith Spawn RTR with upgrades

Описание: Here is a basic video of a test run of the Axial Wraith Spawn owned by DaveM of Radio Control Patrol. There is no cinematic crazy edits here...although I did edit it enough to flow smooth with a few slow-motion jumps and a back flip.

Upgrades to the Wraith Spawn include:

Novak Timbuk 2 Brushless combo Wraith edition with 13.5T brushless crawler motor. (2s lipo max)

Axial AXI3079 Stage 1 Aluminum Links Kit for Wraith

Vanquish Products Steering Links/ Panhard kit/ and Chassis mounted servo kit.

RC4WD Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 2.2 tires on the stock Method Race Wheels(plastic)

Battery relocated to the front with customized stock battery tray.

Cool passenger for "The Driver"

Other than that it is stock and holding up well. A very fun rig right out of the box with 3s lipo on the stock setup but I wanted more of a crawler speed with the reliability of a brushless motor. The tuning features of the Timbuk 2 is ok as well and the hill brake is pretty stiff...it holds well.
For more speed I think I may try a 16T or 14T pinion instead of the 12T I am using now with the setup. It crawls well with no difference to my brushed setup but the top speed is not there with the 12T pinion. Time will tell.
