During his work on this project, Ryan began to investigate the deep infrastructure challenges suffered by rural Indonesians. After his work at McKinsey, Ryan was ready to jump into the entrepreneurial world. He consequently founded and became the CEO of Sun Energy, a renewable energy company that became the largest renewable energy company under his three-year leadership.
