The Varsity Line is yet another great L&NWR which was opened in 1846-51 and ran from Oxford to Cambridge Linking the two universities by rail and was closed in 1968. Although half of the line has been re-opened, the part I am about to wander has been turned into a cycle path which leads up past Priory Country Park so using the old and new railways I go explore.
