This song brought to us by Kindy Sproat written by Stan Jones. Kindy worked at the Molokai Mule ride. He sang and played his ukulele, told stories of each of his songs and was one good paniolo. His name showʻs up in our song "Dis ainʻt da Mainland". KIndy was the 1st person Iʻve ever heard playing this song and it has become a staple here on Molokai. Though I have never met Kuʻualoha, she was an OG of the Hamajang Gang at the Daily Pidgin. She loved to play her ukulele along with Lonomusic. She left beautiful comments to lots of our vids here. So, weʻll celebrate her here. Lots of ukulele players play this song in many different styles. Kindy was the best.
Thanks Kuʻualoha for our brief meet. You are special to many and your memory is now noted here. Rain down upon us with your beautiful ukulele, let your rainbow of sound caress our hearts and minds, for you are the light that brightens us each day, where only eagles may roam, Peace be unto you dear sister, peace.
Please check out the Daily Pidgin with Andy Bumatai and PhotolukeHawaii both on Twitch and You Tube as they play Lonomusic on their platforms.
Please see lonomusic.com for more vids and music.
Thank you for your time, LM.
