Deceased people have been held in mortuaries for more than a year whilst relatives struggle to pay for funerals, research by ITV News shows.
Curtis Colt, a 19-year-old from Northampton, can't afford the burial he feels his grandfather deserves - and there is nobody else to pay, meaning the man who "did everything" for him has been in a mortuary for five months.
