I found this Marx Santa Fe E-8 A-B unit at an antique mall in Jefferson, Texas. It was badly corroded and you could tell it had been sitting up for quite some time. Yet, like most trains of this vintage, a little cleaning and a little lubrication and it sprung back to life. It mainly suffers from a sticking reverse unit now.
It, and the two American Flyer trains we regularly use for Walls are at least 7- years old, the oldest in our Walls fleet.
