Essas palavras inspiraram o Festival "República Do Reggae" que ocorreu na Bahia em novembro de 2004 , do qual participaram os grandes músicos do reggae, entre eles, Gregory Isaacs, cantor jamaicano, que, no ano seguinte, gravou o show “Live In Bahia Brazil” em Salvador. No show ele canta seus maiores sucessos: "Number One", "My Only", "All I Have Is Love", "Mr. Brown" e "Storm".
