Itchy skin and rashes are very common things that happen in Summers. To help soothe itchy skin people need to follow the following simple steps like applying a cold, wet cloth or ice pack to the skin that itches and doing this for about five to 10 minutes or until the itch subsides.
Take a good bath or maybe twice a day with cold water which will help to get relief from itching. Applying boric or talcum powder.
Moisturize your skin by choosing a moisturizer free of additives, fragrances, and perfumes. Apply topical anesthetics that contain pramoxine.
Apply cooling agents, such as menthol or calamine. You could also place your moisturizer in the refrigerator to help achieve this cooling effect.
