Singh recalled the May 7 operation following the Pahalgam attack in which 26 people lost their lives, highlighting that Indian forces targeted terror camps 100 km inside Pakistan. He praised the readiness of India’s military chiefs, who were immediately prepared to act when asked. Singh added that Modi gave a free hand to proceed with the operation, which significantly impacted terror groups, with a JeM terrorist reportedly claiming that Masood Azhar’s family was torn apart by India.
