Thanks for joining me on a day trip to Mount Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture!
Today, I hiked Mount Tsukuba which is a 877 m tall mountain about 2 hours away from Tokyo. Together with friends, I bought strawberries from a local farm close to the mountain, prayed at the Tsukuba Shrine, ate handmade soba noodles at the peak of the mountain, experienced komorebi (木漏れ日) while descending, and relaxed in a Japanese hot spring (onsen).
