28-02-64 – ‘Ready Steady Go!’ (UK): I Can Tell (A long segment of this survives – in colour! – Via a movie short called ‘Look At Life – Sound Of A City’. ‘Ready Steady Go!’ itself was never broadcast or taped in colour, but thanks to the ‘Look At Life’ film crew we get a rare glimpse of how it would’ve looked. As for the song, this is possibly the ultimate version of the Bo Diddley classic)
