India COVID Relief Kirtan with Nina & Keli, Krishna Das, Chandra Easton & Arjun

On Friday Evening we will come together to chant and raise funds to go directly to COVID Relief:

Thanks for donating via PayPal and Venmo to Nina Rao, all funds (close to $25K) received by May 12 were sent by direct transfer to India on May 12 (Please note these are NOT tax-deductible contributions).

We contributed all donations raised toward a specific project for the underserved in Delhi with an admin cost of under 5% ensuring most amount of donations go to help those in need - this project is LifeTree Foundation in India. We also donated to AarogyaSeva.org mobile COVID units in Bengaluru.

My long-time doctor friend in India and veteran of NGOs is closely associated with and monitoring this specific project for authenticity of work. All donations go directly into the delivery of oxygen and creation and provision of makeshift COVID hospital units. There is no intermediary fund collection platform. As an indicator of the type of funds needed in India please know that one oxygen concentrator costs approx $1800. This is the immediate need but there's also feeding essential workers, other medical supplies on an on-going basis, hygiene supplies for women, creation of mobile COVID care unit and so much more.
