We went to stay with our best friends on the edge of Lake Geneva. This vlog shows the amazing places we got to see!
On our first day we spend some time in Lausanne, the Capital of the Olympics.
On day two, we visit Vevey and Montreux. Montreux, also known as the Swiss Riviera, is the home of the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival. Queen recorded seven of their albums here and Deep Purple wrote the infamous Smoke on the Water. We also stand on the place Freddie Mercury recorded his last vocals before his sad passing.
The next day we visit a chocolate factory, namely Cailler, one of the oldest Swiss chocolate producers, the first in the world to make chocolate using real milk. Afterwards, we head to Gruyere, the home of the cheese fondue and a museum to Alien of all things!
On our last day we spend a few hours in Geneva, seeing the fountain in Lac Leman.
