Namibia Economic Freedom Fighter (NEFF) vice president Iipumbu Kalimbo said Namib Desert Diamonds ( Namdia) should consider appointing a leader with the capacity to grow national revenue and market the country’s diamonds.
Kalimbo’s remark comes after the company advertised the chief executive position this week, following the termination of former executive Dr. Alisa Amupolo’s contract last year.
Namdia said the termination was due to operational decisions she made that led to business losses during the periods from April to August 2023, as well as in May and July 2024.
