The Zaroli Tunnel is a pivotal component of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor. The breakthrough was achieved on 5th October 2023, and here's the video showing its details and facts.
Zaroli is a village located on the Maharashtra-Gujarat Border, falling under the jurisdiction of Umbergaon Taluka of Valsad District in the state of Gujarat. It is also serving as the boundary for Construction Package C3 and C4 of the Mumbai Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor, and homes the first mountain tunnel on the route coming from the Ahmedabad side.
Curiously this is the first ever tunnel to be seen in the state of Gujarat. It'd be just a matter of 4 seconds for a bullet train to cross this tunnel, but constructing it is indeed a task. So explore the Zaroli Tunnel in the video.
