While I demonstrate this disassembly and repair on a Thunderobot 911S, this exact same CH341A programmer method can be used to read, backup, and flash the BIOS on ALMOST ANY laptop or desktop motherboard! It's the ultimate universal method to unbrick your PC. (Quick tip: Always check your chip's datasheet first. Standard 3.3V SOP8 chips work perfectly with the test clip, but if your board uses a 1.8V chip, make sure to use a 1.8V adapter!).
