👁 About this video : In today's video we install the Redline Tuning quick lift system for the Tacoma! I bought these from Tacoma Beast and highly recommend them! I have so many parts that are all great products! But back to this installation, it's actually pretty straight forward. All of the measurements are easy to take and the locations are easily defined by indentions in the hood and in the engine bay. After the measurements are taken, it's time to use a sharpie to mark the holes. Once you have those, use a punch which will help guide the drill bit so you can get a clean cut in the exact spot you are looking for. After taping up the end of the drill bit, so that way you don't drill through the hood, it's time to drill the holes out. They may need a little tweaking so that the rivets fit, but you want them to have a snug fit. The rivet gun is simple to use, just need some muscle to get them finished! After that it's time to button everything up and install the new struts! This should have been a factory part because it makes going under the hood that much easier! Not that you would have to since Toyota's are reliable, but it does make it easier to not have to use the old fashion prop rod!
