In this video I change the original stock sprocket out for a smaller 65 tooth sprocket. I take you along through the process and show you all the steps it took to get this job done. I want to give a huge shoutout to my brother Colin for hooking me up with this sprocket and making it possible. I am doing this in attempt to make my bike go faster, I am by no means a professional. With that being said do this at your own risk! Also I want to point out that along with this life we live there is multiple different ways to do things. I am simply showing you the steps I took, they may or may not work for you and your bike. That's okay just have to figure out what works out best for you!
The Tools Needed:
A Cresent (Adjustable) wrench
A 10 mm socket
A 14 mm socket
A Ratchet for the sockets
A chain breaker
Possibly a new chain (you'll see haha)
A quality master link in chain size
A quality half link in chain size
Optional: A can of Dupont chain-saver wax based lubricant
I want to say thank you all for watching and all of your continued support! Let me know if this video helped you out and I hope you learn something from it, because I sure did! Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask questions if you have any. I may not have the answers but I will try my best to point you in the right direction.
If you would like to see some more behind the scenes of this process or the build of this bike. Please check out GoodDudeTV on all other platforms and keep up to date. I hope you all enjoy!
