Описание: D Roopa Moudgil is an Indian Police Service officer and whistleblower who exposed corruption in Bengaluru jail. During this time, she faced pressures from various quarters and faced risk to her life and career. In spite of these risks and fears, she courageously gave report exposing special privileges given illegally to powerful politician-convicts housed in Bengaluru jail. In her illustrious career as a cop, she has taken the mighty and powerful head on several times. She is also the first Kannadiga women IPS officer. In the present TEDx talk, she speaks about fear and how to overcome it. She is the first woman to become an Indian Police Service official in Karnataka. She is currently the Inspector-general of police, the second highest-ranked officer in hierarchy in Bangalore and Karnataka.
