CM Revanth Orders Fast-Track Land Acquisition for Palamuru-Rangareddy Project

Описание: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to carry out land acquisition for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project on a war footing. The Chief Minister instructed ministers and public representatives from the united Mahabubnagar district to take proactive steps to speed up the process.

He assured that there would be no delay in releasing funds required for land acquisition. Meanwhile, ministers strongly criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) over its proposed “Palamuru Porubata” program, alleging that the previous BRS government neglected irrigation projects in the Palamuru region.

The project continues to remain a major political and developmental issue in Telangana politics.
