LEGO fans are making noise again—and this time, it’s impossible to ignore.

The Pokémon launch should’ve been a win. Instead, it turned into chaos. The GWP vanished almost instantly, scalpers flooded the market, and prices tripled overnight. And once again, fans were left asking the same question: who is LEGO actually marketing to anymore?

While fans fight scalpers and resale listings, LEGO confirms CMF Series 29 is going fully classic—no licenses, no gimmicks, just traditional minifigures dropping in May. A move that feels deliberate. Almost like LEGO knows the community is craving its roots again.

Then there’s the Iron Man set. Leaving fans realizing and pointing out a clever advertising technique to help bolster sales which has already scammed multiple buyers of the set.

And yet—at the same time—LEGO has quietly updated Pick a Brick. New Castle, pirates & space parts the community as so desperately been asking for.

LEGO hasn’t lost the plot. Yet. But if hype and scalpers keep winning, the fandom might already be lost.
