In a remote ritual site, a woman is chosen to dance herself to death, forcing her community to confront the cost of their inaction as she fights for life until her final breath; a reinterpretation of Igor Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, expanding on concepts from the 100-year-old story on film for the first time.
This film examines societal inaction and the unseen labor of those forced to carry burdens others have the fortune to refuse. We are passionate about detail, risk-taking, aesthetics, and storytelling with a deeper purpose as we bring Stravinsky's composition to film for the first time.
