This episode was directed by Richard Donner, who went on to direct the first Superman movie as well as the Lethal Weapon movie series, starring Mel Gibson. Michael Pate, who co-stars in this episode, directed Mel Gibson in the movie ‘Tim’. Pate also wrote the screenplay for ‘Tim’, based on the novel of the same name by Colleen McCullough. ‘Tim’ was released two months after the first ‘Mad Max’ movie in 1979.
We have enjoyed Get Smart since we were kids. We like to drop a condensed episode into our podcast now and then. Not everything makes it because sight gags don’t always work in audio only. 😊 We try to include all the good dialogue and the catchphrases.
This one is from our 23rd episode where we paid our respects to some fine Bass lines played by some fine Bass players. And remember, It’s Craw, not Craw!
