This trail will make you wet!

Описание: The Mist Trail in Yosemite is one of the most iconic hikes in the US, mand one of the wettest.

It’s a 7-mile round-trip trek (if you come back down the more gradual John Muir trail to save your knees).

You’ll gain 2,000 feet in elevation, but most stop after 1,000 vertical feet at the top of Vernal Fall.

Vernal Fall, which towers at 317 feet, but Nevada Fall stands at a staggering 594 feet.

If you're hiking it in mid-May, prepare to get drenched. The snowmelt sends a massive surge of water over the falls, turning the trail into a natural car wash. By late July, the flow is much lighter, but still beautiful, and a bit less dramatic (and dry).

If you're planning to do the full trail, bring good shoes, plenty of water, and some clothes you’re not emotionally attached to.
