The synthesizer ban of 1982 was obviously so weird when you think about it in retrospect, but when it comes to technology it consistently feels like people want things banned in all aspects of life. It eventually pushes those ideas or companies forward. I kinda like to think of Behringer in this respect, so many wanted them to go away, now they have an cult following (some might say to an unhealthy level). As someone impartial I think you just have to let the story play our whether synths, Behringer or AI, you can fight against it, but in a sense you bring more attention to something that may have faded away. Anywho. Musician's Union in London was wild for this lol.
