About Sponge Cola
Sponge Cola is one of the Philippines’ most enduring and influential rock bands, known for their poetic lyricism, infectious melodies, and electrifying live shows. Hailing from Quezon City, the group is composed of Yael Yuzon (vocals, guitar), Gosh Dilay (bass), Erwin Armovit (lead guitar), and Ted “TMAC” Cruz (drums).
Sponge Cola rose to prominence with hits like “Jeepney,” “Gemini,” “Bitiw,” “Tuliro,” and “Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay.” Their debut Palabas went Gold, followed by the Platinum-certified Transit and the self-titled Sponge Cola—featuring the iconic anthem “Puso.”

Requiem Rising and Timbre+ One North is thrilled to announce the return of one of the Philippines’ most iconic rock bands — SPONGE COLA — for an electrifying live performance on August 31, 2025, at the vibrant Timbre+ One North. This marks the band’s third time performing in Singapore, and we’re set for another unforgettable night of powerful music and pure energy.
Since emerging in the early 2000s, SPONGE COLA has become a staple of the OPM rock scene, known for their poetic lyricism, explosive performances, and genre-defying sound. With enduring hits like “Jeepney,” “Bitiw,” “Tuliro,” and “Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay,” the band continues to define and elevate Filipino rock music across generations.

Getting There
By MRT: one-north MRT Station, go to level one of Fusionopolis via Exit C. Cross the street and walk towards JTC LaunchPad Block 79 (green building). Timbre+ is next to Block 79.
Driving: Take exit 8 along AYE. Enter North Buona Vista Road and turn right at Ayer Rajah Avenue. Turn right again into Ayer Rajah Crescent, enter into JTC LaunchPad’s carpark - park at Block 71, 73 or 79 - nearest to Timbre+.
