The Tema Motorway Interchange is one of Ghana’s most well-designed road projects, ensuring seamless traffic flow… until you reach the Ashaiman Roundabout. Here, multiple lanes suddenly merge into a single lane, creating one of the worst traffic bottlenecks on the N2 highway.
In this video, we take you through this critical road network, highlighting the sudden transition from smooth to congested traffic and why the Akosombo Road (N2) desperately needs expansion. Although this footage was captured on a holiday when traffic was lighter than usual, regular commuters know the struggle of navigating this stretch on a normal day.
