Márk is a resident doctor of neurology at Jahn Ferenc Dél-Pesti Hospital. His interest is in myasthenia gravis and its epidemiological and therapeutic landscape. As a first project, he will compare the efficacy and safety of intravenous immunoglobulin and plasma exchange therapy in moderate to severe myasthenia gravis through a systematic review and meta-analysis. As a clinical implication of this study, if the two interventions are similar in efficacy then they can substitute each other. As a second project, he plans to establish a national registry for myasthenia gravis. The main goal of the Myasthenia Gravis registry is to explore the incidence, the prevalence of the disease, and the mean age of onset. As his third project, he plans to update and continue an existing Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disease registry.
