Is the Husqvarna 701 Enduro the best off-road long distance travel bike?
I have owned the 701 for 3 years and 20k miles, most of it off-road on the Trans Euro Trail (TET). Time for a review! Join me to discover what has worked, what hasn't worked, and what mods i have done to make the bike more usable.

The Forgotten Mods (stuff I failed to mention)
1. Headlamp, get it changed, the OEM one is as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest.
2. Protection for your clutch case and stator, get something over that magnesium - it really isn’t that robust!
3. Larger rear brake pedal tip, makes the thing easier to find on those loose, panicky, downhills!
4. 2 x USB ports (note: 2019 and below doesn’t have any as standard, 2020 onwards has one).
