Visit http://koamps.weebly.com/ko-plexi.html a very cool Marshall Plexi style amp. Loosely based on a 1959 super lead mk2, but with 6v6s instead of the el34s or 6550s. About 15 watts of sweet, sweet tone. Uses two 6V6 power tubes and three 12ax7 preamp tubes. The amp goes from clean and rich, to mean and crunchy. Plenty loud too. No problems gigging with this.
I used a Traynor 2x12 cabinet,loaded with Greenbacks, a Shure SM-57 into a GAP-73 mic preamp, and a Zoom H1 for the room. The 2 audio tracks were later blended in Logic Pro. I added a little bit of reverb and delay in Logic.
Guitars: Hagstrom Viking, Fender American Standard Stratocaster - both completely stock.
