This siren is part of the Spartanburg County Outdoor Warning System, and it is tested on the first Saturday of every month weather permitting at 1:00 pm and is controlled by the Spartanburg County Emergency Management Agency

I was told by TrainsAndSirens1 and SirensOfSpartanburg that this Whelen was back online. How do I know this you might ask? Well, I was having a discussion with the boys about our locations for this month, and Michael (ClayRanger143) suggested that we do this one for last. Though I told him that it's been offline for about a while, but Luke (GSPiedmont425) told me that it has been fixed and it was back in service, though I had to confirm it with Christopher (TrainsAndSirens1) about it to see if it's true, and believe it or not it was working. Funny enough, it has been a year since we recorded a Whelen in South Carolina.
