The resort we stayed at is: The Intercontinental Khao Yai, in Central Thailand, about 2 hours from Bangkok. Located in Khao Yai National Park, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and biodiversity.

In fact it was the shooting location for part of the Hollywood Movie The Beach, starring Leonardo di Caprio
