Remembering 80-year-old dog walker Ruth Dalton who was killed during a Seattle carjacking

Описание: A memorial walk was held Wednesday night to honor Ruth Dalton, the 80-year-old woman who was carjacked and killed while working as a dog walker in Seattle in August.

The Justice for Ruth march began at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way East and will conclude at Madison Park.

City leaders joined friends, members of the community and Dalton's family at the march.

Dalton died on Aug. 20 when she was carjacked and then run over by her own vehicle.

Jahmed Haynes, 48, has been charged with murder, assault and animal cruelty for the death of Dalton and her dog Prince Eric.
