Why Is Lightroom Sorting My Photos Wrong?

Описание: I noticed an oddity in my Lightroom catalog with the sort order of my photos. My library was clearly sorted by Capture Time. However, a rapid sequence of photos also clearly showed a surfer walking from left to right, jumping back to the left, and finally lurching forward to the right? Lightroom … what is happening here?

After a little detective work, I believe I understand why the sort order is awkward… and it has to do with my image import process. I’ll show you what I found.
