This track is freely inspired by the famous poem “Emina” by Aleksa Šantić (Mostar, 1902).
It is important to note that there is not just one single melody for Emina – over the years, different artists have created their own musical versions.
The most famous interpretation comes from Himzo Polovina, but others such as Ibrica Jusić, Safet Isović, and Mostar Sevdah Reunion have also shaped their own melodies.

My version is therefore not a direct copy of any original tune, but rather a modern reinterpretation.
It takes the spirit of Sevdah – nostalgia, longing, unfulfilled love – and transforms it into an emotional trance anthem:

This project was created with the support of AI tools: the melody guide and arrangement were developed using ChatGPT, the track was produced and vocalized with Suno AI, visual loops were generated with Sora, and the final mastering/editing was done in Adobe tools. The result is a human–AI collaboration, blending creativity and technology.
