After the Afghan Taliban regime declared war, Pakistan launched Operation “Ghazab Lil Haqq” with full force, sending a clear message that the country will not compromise on its sovereignty, borders, or the safety of its citizens. This decisive action was not sudden—it was a response to months of cross-border provocations, infiltration, and unprovoked attacks.

From Chitral to Bajaur and Khyber to Kurram, Pakistan’s security forces defended their borders and launched strong counterattacks, resulting in 133 Taliban militants killed and over 200 injured. The operation targeted 27 Taliban border posts, inflicted heavy losses, and reasserted Pakistan’s operational superiority. In Paktia, Pakistan even captured 5 Taliban posts and raised its flag, sending a practical and symbolic message.

Airstrikes in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia confirmed that Pakistan will not allow Afghan soil to be used for terrorist activities. These strikes targeted Taliban military installations, emphasizing that any attack on Pakistan will be met with a strong, decisive response, not limited to border areas.

The operation highlights Pakistan’s commitment to regional security, national unity, and protection of its citizens, while holding the Taliban accountable for failing to act against cross-border terrorism. This action also underscores the broader regional implications of allowing neighboring territories to harbor extremist groups.
