Описание: Bent parking posts can impact meter performance, resulting in lost revenue and poor customer service. Working with local metal fabricator Barrie Welding, staff in the City of Barrie's Roads, Parks and Fleet department (Parking branch) built a base for a hydraulic pump post straightener that can straighten the post in minutes while protecting the surrounding groundcover from damage. The pole straightener in its original form would sink into soft ground like grass and in areas with paving stone the unit would start to lift the post out of the ground. The base plate covers the pole base and does not allow the unit to lift out of the ground, and also provides a stable surface to not sink into soft materials.
