Hey Guys! I finally got my hand into the LYS BEAUTY Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream blush! The 3 newest shades in the line has been out of stock on and off during the past few months. I finally got the deepest of the 3, EPIC!
I wasn’t sure how pigmented they are and was skeptical if this tangerine red shade will be too bold for me. It turned out none of these matters as this blush is very blendable and buildable!
I love how easy it is to control the depth of this blush! So glad that I chose Epic over other lighter shades and this is stunning on light skin tone as well- not too bold and I’m able to apply it as a wash of tangerine on my cheek, perfect for daily wear!
As for the comparison with the Creme Cheek Blushes from Honest Beauty, the 2 shades that I have are completely different from Epic, but for the formula, Honest Beauty’s ones are slightly thicker and are more even in the arm swatches. However on the cheek, Epic applies better and it also spreads earlier. I love using it with a dense blush brush!
