Want to get a quick overview of ClickMagick before signing up?

In this video, I go over a ClickMagick overview and brief tutorial to get you acquianted with the software and help you decide if it's right for you.

And if you already signed up, then this video will just show you the lay of the land and help you find what you need to when you do begin.

First off, ClickMagick is a software that allows you to track clicks to your website or funnel and help find what is converting and what is just costing you money with no results.

So if you are promoting on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.. and want to see which traffic source/ad/keywords/etc.. are converting best, you need some sort of third party tracking tool, and that's going to be ClickMagick in this case.

In addition, if you are an affiliate promoting affiliate network offers, your options are even more limited and so you definitely need something that can help you track sales.

That being said, let's get straight into it.

Where do you go when you first sign up for ClickMagick?

That'll depend on your goals and your setup.

Let's look at all the options individually.

✔ Option 1: ClickMagick Campaigns

If you have your own landing page, funnel, website, etc... you should definitely start by using ClickMagick Campaigns.

This is the new "system" that ClickMagick implemented to help you quickly and easily track your entire funnel.

If you also want to promote on Google Ads, it's especially important that you use Campaigns as Google hates tracking links.

With Campaigns, you'll be able to quickly see all your stats at a glance, filter by the UTM parameters, and so on.

But what if you don't have your own landing page and are direct linking? Let's take a look at the next option.

✔ Option 2: Tracking Links

If you are direct linking offers, then tracking links is the way to go for you.

You would simply create a tracking link to any offer of your choice and promote it!

Just make sure not to use Google Ads if you are using tracking links, as they might ban your account.

You can also use tracking links with campaigns if you want - you're not limited to using one or the other.

But what if you are not trying to make any sales and are SELLING clicks instead? Let's take a look at rotators and how to set them up!

✔ Option 3: Rotator Links

If you are just selling clicks, ie. if you are a solo ad vendor, or part of a co-op and so on, then rotators are the way to go for you.

Keep in mind that rotators are NOT meant to be used for split testing... so if you want to split test, use the tracking link split testing feature, not this rotator.

Setting up a rotator is pretty simple.

I haven't created a video on this yet, but if you go to the Rotators tab in ClickMagick and just click on the little video play button, you will be able to see the video ClickMagick made for you.

Note that rotators do NOT show conversions... so once again, use them ONLY if you want to track clicks, NOT the sales that comes with it.

That's pretty much it for the major ways to promote with ClickMagick.

Let's look at some of the other optional settings you can add.

✔ Option 4: Other options

If you want to track sales, you can use postback URL's or tracking pixels.

I have videos on both of these, so just type in "ClickMagick tracking sales" in YouTube and you'll find my videos, whether you want to track sales with Campaigns or tracking links.

You can also set up a custom tracking domain here (also have a video on that) and create your groups, so use these features to keep organized as well.

You have the batch editor that allows you to quickly and easily make bulk changes without having to go into each link or rotator individually.

You can set up a custom postback that will allow you to send sales data FROM ClickMagick to the affiliate network of your choice (as long as they allow it), so kind of like a reverse postback URL.

The IP manager and lookup tool allows you to "blacklist" certain IP's that you think are shady and/or abusing your links and so on.

Just go through all these options and play around with them - I have videos that cover pretty much all these topics, so experiment and then look at my videos if you need help.
