The US and Iran earlier this week agreed to a 60-day ceasefire extension for the negotiations, but Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturday announced the closure of the ⁠Strait of Hormuz in response to Israeli attacks in Lebanon – although the US military said commercial vessels kept operating.
