Описание: People often assume that a Psychologist is a doctor. But there is a difference between a Psychologist and a Psychiatrist.
Psychologist: They are the professionals who study about mental health and human behavior. They counsel and help and are not allowed to prescribe any medications for the treatment. only a Psychiatrist can prescribe medications.

Degree offered in Psychology:
BA in psychology
B.sc in psychology
MA in psychology
MSc in Psychology
Phd in Psychology
Mphil in Psychology

There are no specific subject requirements for getting admission in BA
psychology.
But for bsc psychology degree, one has to be from science stream and should have studied biology in class 11th and 12th.
Students who like observing and analysing human behaviour and want to help people by counseling them can choose this as a career option.
