Description - Jalan Pudu is an important historic main street in the center of Kuala Lumpur. Pudu is known for its history as an old village and a busy traffic route. Today, it is the main route connecting to Pudu Sentral and Jalan Tun Perak, with some old sections like Jalan Pudu Lama still existing as historic lanes. A map of Kuala Lumpur from 1895 placed Pudu in a swampy area far from the administrative capital where Sultan Abdul Samad Building still stands.
